Planet Organic – Organic Flaxseed oil is a rich source of the omega-3 essential fatty acid Alpha Linolenic acid, and also contains the omega-6 fatty acid Linoleic acid, and the omega-9 essential fatty acid Oleic acid.

These fatty acids cannot be produced by the body and must therefore be obtained through the diet. It is produced from cold pressing the seeds of the flax plant using screw presses at ambient temperatures without any light.

In order to protect the oil further from oxidation, Planet Organic Australian Organic Flaxseed Oil is stored at cool temperatures in dark containers, and each bottle is flushed with inert gas to expel oxygen and preserve freshness.
