Questions and Answers
What is NaturStyle
NaturStyle is a range of permanent hair colorants, free from
ammonia and resorcinol, the two most aggressive ingredients
found in traditional hair dyes. All raw material used in the
production of NaturStyle are of only the highest quality and
production takes place in a state of the art facility. The
product fully covers grey and can be re-applied after regrowth
occurs.
The basis of the formulation includes plant extracts such
as soya and coconut derivatives designed to reduce the potential
sensitivity of the product and to nourish and improve the
condition of the hair. NaturStyle achieves a maximum colour
fixation process with minimum damage to the hair fibres.
The NaturStyle range provides many colouring and highlighting
options and is divided into three sub ranges.
The core NaturStyle range consists of 18 colours that protect
the hair and provide full, long lasting colour and cover.
They can be mixed to create a shade that is desired.

alternative vibrant, natural hair colours. These are warm
chestnut based colours enriched with lively golden, copper,
iridescent or natural tones.

to deliver a variation of colour. It gives the hair different
tones of colour and levels of shade.

the needs of chemically weary consumers and those with sensitive
skin. This means you can permanently colour you hair with

The Ingredients
NaturStyle is a permanent hair colourant in gel form and
its formula is a blend of active ingredients with the following
characteristics:
HYDROLIZED VEGETABLE PROTEIN (TRITICUM VULGARE, SOY,
CORN and AVENA SATIVA):
Cereal protein organic extract. Hydrolyzed plant protein complex
with a dermo -protective and hair-restructuring action (Wheat,
Soy, Corn and Oats). In hair dyes, it reduces the harshness
of surfactants, and it carries out a conditioning and restructuring
action. It acts as a protector and moisturiser in for the
hair.
AQUA: WATER:
Essential ingredient of our hair colour of which the quality
is of prime importance. Its osmotic and de-ionized water is
totally sanitized. It is the best water for the manufacture
of cosmetics.
PEG-2 OLEAMINE:
Organic extract. An emulsifying agent for the hair. Derived
from soy plant. Hypoallergenic, soy has moisturising properties
that provide the hair with volume and shine after the colouring
process.
COCAMIDE DEA:
Organic extract. Foam booster. Derived from coconut, it contains
important revitalizing properties for the hair.
ALCOHOL DENAT:
Denatured alcohol. Organic extract from beet. Cosmetic astringent.
It carries out colour in the hair.
OLEIC ACID:
Vegetable organic extract from sunflower. It is a cleansing
agent with nourishing and moisturising qualities.
4- AMINO-2-HIDROXYETHIL, P-AMINOPHENOL, M- AMINOPHENOL,
N, N-BIS(HYDROXYETHIL) P- PHENYLENEDIAMINE SULFATE, 2-AMINO4HYDROXYETHYLAMINOANISOLE
SULFATE:
Colourants for the hair used in very low percentages.
2-METHYLRESORCINOL-4-CHLORORESORCINAL:
Two high quality colourants, which are expensive alternatives
to resorcinol and are proven not to have any secondary effects.
NaturStyle does NOT contain RESORCINAL. We have avoided using
resorcinol due to its known high irritation level.
CETEARYL ALCOHOL-LAURETH-3-CETEARETH-20-CETYL ALCOHOL:
Emulsifier. This is a moisture-carrying vehicle for the hydrogen
peroxide. It highly reduces irritation, which may be caused
by the hydrogen peroxide in skin-sensitive people. It is very
commonly used in facial creams.
PROPYLENE GLYCOL:
Moisturising agent that absorbs water from the air. Contains
oxygen. Protects the hair cuticle by gently opening the cells
to allow colour penetration inside the hair cortex.
ETHANOLAMINE:
It is a pH adjuster, which allows the simultaneous colour
de-action with the hydrogen peroxide to take place. Most permanent
hair colourants contain ammonia, which guarantees strong colour
change and grey coverage. NaturStyle does not use ammonia
because of its highly damaging nature, which with time can
affect the hair fibre. Ethanolamine also guarantees permanent
non-fading colouring yet does not damage the hair. Strong
colour changes must be made colouring two tones at a time
however the hair is being protected in the long term.
P- PHENYLENEDIAMINE:
Colour additive for the hair (all types requiring caution
statements and patch test). The high quality of this ingredient
used in NaturStyle makes a crucial difference in terms of
sensitivity and irritation. Being 1 the maximum relative concentration
permitted, our hair colours range from a maximum of 0.30 (1N)
to a minimum of 0.007 (10N). The low percentage used in our
hair colour guarantees minimum irritation.
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (COLOURFIX):
Chemical. A bleaching and oxidising agent for hair dyes in
cosmetic products. It is diluted in water (See Water). We
use 6, 7.5, 9 or 12 % depending on the colour.
OXYQUINOLINE SULFATE:
Hydrogen Peroxide stabilising agent.
NUTRIDEEP HAIRCONDTIONER:
Its pH completes the colouring process which is why it is
of vital importance to apply it after washing and rinsing.
It re-establishes and closes the pores that may remain open
after the colouring process and so assuring us of the permanent
colour fixation. We recommend this product is massaged thoroughly
into hair and left for 2-5 minutes before rinsing out. Aqua
(Water), Quarternium 83, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propil
Silanetriol, c 12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Peg-10 Rapeseed Sterol,
Ceramide, Peg-40 Hydrogenate Castor Oil, Perfume (Fragrance),
Butyleneglycol, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower Extract), Imidazolinidyl

FAQs
ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS:
Q&A: What is resorcinol & what are its effects
on my hair?
Resorcinol is a white crystalline phenol obtained from various
resins; it is a common cheap ingredient which is found in
most hair colours especially the dark colours.
NaturStyle does not contain resorcinol. We have avoided using
resorcinol due to its known high irritation level and its
association with various skin conditions including contact
dermatitis and other more fatal conditions.
Q&A: What is ammonia & what are its effects
on my hair?
Ammonia is extensively used to manufacture fertilisers
and a wide variety of nitrogen containing chemicals including
hair colourants as it is a very cheap aggressive ingredient
that quickly opens the hair cuticle.
NaturStyle does not use ammonia because of its highly damaging
nature which with time can affect the hair fibre. Strong colour
changes can not be made due to the lack of ammonia, colouring
two tones at a time (as suggested by NaturStyle) however protects
the hair in the long term.
Q&A: Is quaternary ammonium compounds the same
as ammonia?
No, they are in the same family but do not have the
same chemical make-up, quaternary ammonium compounds are made
up of organic groups.
The quaternary ammonium compounds are used in the hair conditioner
as an anti-static agent and are considered to be a very safe
ingredient that is used extensively in the cosmetics industry.
Q&A: What is Nutrideep and how does it work?
Nutrideep is the newly formulated conditioner for
after colouring application. With Nutrideep, the hair is restructured
and protected. Natural shine and texture is revived along
with healthy, manageable hair and long lasting colour.
Q&A: Does NaturStyle contain animal ingredients?
