Raw Australian Native Bee Propolis 25%

Bees make propolis from tree resins, young bud oils and plant sap that they collect to build unique hive structures to provide highly effective hive hygiene and safety. 

The medicinal properties of propolis have been known since ancient times. Propolis products are household natural remedies in traditional medicine and are becoming increasingly popular in Western Natural Therapeutic Health Care.

Organic Apricot Kernel Oil

Organic Apricot Kernel Oil works to moisturise dry, sensitive skin and to smooth out blemishes, wrinkles, and fine lines. The high level of unsaturated fatty acids makes it non-greasy, and its combination of Oleic, Linoleic, and Linolenic acids helps relieve and prevent acne. Apricot Kernel Oil is a light, enriching oil that is ideal for use on mature skin. Non-irritating and soothing, its thin consistency allows fast penetration, leaving skin smooth and soft.

Beeswax

Beeswax the anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds and assists with forming a barrier between the skin and the environment while locking in moisture. Beeswax is high in vitamin A, which has been found to support cell reconstruction and health. It is also a ‘humectant’, meaning it has the property of attracting water to itself. This helps keep the skin hydrated and soft. Beeswax also has antibacterial properties. It helps keep the skin clean and reduces the risk of contamination.

Organic Flower Extract

Organic Flower Extract enhances the naturally occuring fragrance of the Australian Bushland that develops from the harvested propolis.

Packaging

We use unique biophotonic violet glass packaging to protect the precious phenols and essential oils in the propolis from the harmful effects of light to increase the shelf life and revitalise the potency of the product.

How to use

Body

Apply to your body by gently massaging a small quantity or thin layer of Propolis Balm to dry or sensitive skin. Do this several times a day or as needed to help heal, hydrate and moisturise. Particularly useful for skin that needs some extra attention, such as irritated skin, after sun healing, insect bites or following hair removal.

Propolis Balm is also an excellent hand and cuticle cream, simply massage into the hands and cuticles, then leave to absorb.

This balm is very effective in healing and protecting all over the body as the beeswax seals in moisture, leaving skin hydrated and protected.

Face

The perfect combination with Propolis Extract, use the balm following extract application to treat problem areas that are irritated or prone to dryness. With beeswax locking in moisture, the balm is perfect for daily application to hydrate and soften cracked or dry lips.

Gently massage into the skin following shaving or hair removal to soothe and heal the skin. Rub a small amount between clean fingers and apply directly to the face for the ultimate post-shaving protector.

Hair

Rub a small amount across the finger tips and massage into the scalp, then run your fingers through your hair for daily shine. The balm will assist with styling, while providing a natural shine and hydration.
